Visualize
Visualize is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering and supporting midwives to screen for cervical cancer.
We have developed a low-fidelity cervical cancer screening training model that aids midwives and other healthcare providers as they learn how to screen for cervical cancer using visual inspection of the cervix with acetic acid (VIA). VIA is a low-cost and effective cervical cancer screening method that provides an alternative to Pap smear.
I began working on Visualize in 2013 and continue to conduct research and pursue implementation with partners in Ghana.
